2. Embroidered Band Straw Visor

This list wouldn’t be complete without a straw visor. And while this visor is pretty great on appearance alone, it’s its details that make it standout: the hat features a vintage cotton band and a brass buckle. It’s sold at Free People and priced at $58.

3. Marled Rancher Hat

This hat also comes from Free People. It’s a classic rancher style hat that features a vegan leather tie. Pick from two colors: grey or brown. It’s not the classic beach hat, so you will definitely stand out. Also: this hat is quite fashionable, so it will help you transition from brunch to beach with ease. Priced at a very reasonable $38.

4. Derinda Sun Hat

This is the modern version of the classic, floppy beach hat. It’s black and white, and made from straw. While many straw hats tend to be a bit thin, this one is nice and thick, so it won’t blow away easily. Priced at $58 from Anthropologie.

5. ’70s Floppy Straw Hat

And we had to end this list with a classic, floppy, vintage hat from the 1970s. The seller, JacquieVintage, says the hat features a wide 4″ brim, natural woven straw dyed red, and a grosgrain band knotted at the back, with trailing tails. Also, the label says it’s from Bloomingdale’s and made in Italy. Priced at $66.
