BlaBla products are handmade by Peruvian women in bright, colorful knits from natural fibers grown in Peru.  Florence Wetterwald and her long time friend, Susan Pritchett, traveled to Peru in 2001 where they found entire villages of expert knitters making colorful finger puppets from old wool sweaters.

I particularly like the fact that BlaBla employs families in a developing country and that their fair trade ethics provide artisans with a decent wage which improves their quality of life.


Inspired by these women, Florence has designed an adorable collection of snuggly items from butterfly backpacks to lion hats and soft animal coin banks. The finger puppets that put BlaBla on the map inspire children to use their imagination and are safe for even the littlest fingers. Most items are under $30.
