Vintage Wallpaper Becomes You

No need for serious jewelry in springtime - your adornments can be lighthearted and still be sustainable and pretty.

These one-of-a-kind squares of vintage wallpaper, preserved between glass and solder and hung from a sterling silver chain, come from Lucky Accessories (click on "vintage pendants"). The sweet surprise is that each side is different, and each necklace is cut from a different part of the design, making it unique.

The delight is in the detail here, as the necklaces call attention to an eye-catching but small design element that might never have been noticed on the parlor wall. ($45-80 for 1-2 inch squares.) If you like this look, check out the safari-themed delight Luanne discovered recently.
