A Lamp's Best Friend

Do you ever feel like the recycled glass market is an endless parade of vases and bottles? Fortunately, there are plenty of innovative, creative uses for recycled glass.

Piggybacking off of Mike's earlier post on our love affair with recycled glass, I want to share these quirky recycled glass lamps from Stray Dog Designs with you.

Each one of the designs is hand made by artisans in Mexico from recycled materials, whether it be paper mache, tin or glass. Stray Dog is pretty fetching: purely sustainable products, unique designs conceived by founder Jane Gray, and a genuine commitment to fair trade.

I have to admit I am partial to the frilly design and boudoir feel of the lamps. They bring a truly fresh approach to the recycled glass space. This glowing Nancy Glass Lamp is available for $485.
