Save a Tree, One Gift at a Time

Are you tired of showing up to a dinner party with the usual hostess gift - a bottle of wine or basket of soaps or bouquet of flowers? Or maybe one too many times you’ve forgotten about getting a gift at all, until 30 minutes before the party starts?

Whatever your gift-giving dilemma, this pretty wood box could be the answer. Hand made of reclaimed wood, it’s painted white (inside and out) with an exquisite magenta orchid on the lid. It measures 8 x 4.5 x 3 inches deep and couldn’t be sweeter.

At $25, I’d suggest buying a few to give away and one extra for you. Fill it with monogrammed hand towels and put it in the powder room, or set one atop your vanity for hair clips and bobby pins.

Note: The ultimate in eco-friendliness, reclaimed wood helps save trees and protect our forests. Its age gives it an interesting texture and rich patina, as well as strength and density not found in newly harvested wood.
