Skeptical at first, I’ve come to embrace the bootie look. Good with jeans, great with skirts, the versatile style will have you trotting stylishly through the season. I’ve been scoping the scene in search of the perfect pair and I’m proud to report that my favorites are also the eco-friendly options. Here are my picks, so you can hit the ground running.
Terra Plana Lauren Slouch Boots: The leather is vegetable-tanned and the fabric comes from off-cuts of quilts made in Pakistan and Bangladesh, making every pair unique. Cushioned with memory-foam lining for a comfortable fit, your busy feet will thank you (shown above).
OlsenHaus Groove Shortie Boots: Not just another line of vegan shoes, OlsenHaus delivers a collection that is edgy and original. Elizabeth Olsen’s line is made entirely of non-animal materials in factories personally checked for ethical practices and environment.

Wow, those shoes in the picture are cute. Too bad I never learned how to walk in high heels, and at the ripe age of 30, I don’t think I’m about to try. My preference is barefoot.
Go on, share your thoughts.
