Ode to Obi-Wan Kenobi

When I was young, I went through a period when I was obsessed with Princess Leia’s braided buns. My parents indulged my phase for a bit and then politely steered me back to the more acceptable ponytail.

So, I’m the first one to admit that there’s nothing wrong with mild Star Wars fanaticism.  And while this cute and crafty Obi belt by Rebe may not have been directly inspired by the Jedi Master himself, you will notice a striking resemblance between his belt and the much more stylish version here.

I love that this belt can be worn over a casual top or comfortable cotton dress to create an original look for a Sunday brunch or a day of window-shopping. Wrap the ties continuously around your waist or let them cascade down your back. Made of Japanese cotton. At only $92, this original piece is quite a value, as well.
