Is It Green or Greenwash? Vote!

This cotton throw, designed by Lori Slater with both style and the environment in mind, redefines the art of recycled decor. Or does it?

“When people think of recycled, they tend to think of used or worn. This collection reflects how we can incorporate beautiful, environmentally responsible, recycled items into our home, “ Slater says. The aesthetically pleasing throw, depicting branches of a blooming tree against the glowing moon, is available in rust red, sage, and smoky gray. Available at Green and Greener for $125, I love the throw and Slater's message - and after all, the claim is green.

Editor's poll: Here's the deal. These throws are made from post-industrial, pre-consumer fibers (plus 24% acrylic, which the company is admittedly "working on"). Think the Whole Foods bag controversy. While the throws are using byproducts of industry...they're not technically recycled. What do you think?
