Birkenstock’s are back and they are better than ever. These sandals are no longer just the average, plain Jane sandal to slap on before a hike. The modern Birkenstock can actually be worn on a date.
To help you round out your trendy wardrobe, we’ve found five different Birkenstock sandals for this week’s Friday Finds — all will look fabulous on your feet.
1. Vintage Birkenstock “Birkis,” Orange Pleather
If you’re dedicated to truly get an upcycled pair of Birkenstocks that are, shockingly, not made of leather, this is the Birkenstock sandal for you. This pair is listed on Etsy at $24. This pair of Birkenstock sandals is classically styled — perfect for the true, die-hard Birkenstock fan. If this pair doesn’t do it for you, just search for “vintage Birkenstock sandals” to peruse the plethora of footwear choices on Etsy. This pair is listed at the shop wersalvagedbeauty.
2. Birki’s by Birkenstock Samui Brights Sandals
Forget Earth tones, this pair of Birkenstock sandals is quite bright. These sandals feature a bright, summery pink, and thin straps — much more elegant than traditional Birki’s. This pair of sandals is priced at $64.95 and sold at the Sierra Trading Post.
Start streaming “The Beach” and get out your ’90s cargo shorts to complete this vintage look. These Birkenstock sandals feature a rather impressively cool beach setting on their straps. From ThredUp and priced at $19.99.
Free People has a huge selection of Birki’s on sale, but we like this pair because they’re different. If you like a more “covered foot” look, this pair will do the trick. Priced at $120.
5. Vintage Papillo by Birkenstock Blue Floral Two Strap Sandals
ASOS has a great listing for a vintage pair of Birkenstock sandals from Loot Vintage. Priced at $26.99, these sandals feature a cute and flirty floral print (another “it” trend). Wear with a flirty sundress to turn heads this summer.
