When it comes to jewelry, chunky statement pieces are more my style, but I do admire the understated beauty of a simple necklace, bracelet, or ring. If you prefer your accessories uncomplicated (and eco-friendy, of course!), Jennifer Dawes is your woman.
Jennifer put her knowledge of metalsmithing to work and created Dawes Design, a delicately exquisite line of jewelry. Her belief in social and environmental responsibility led to the development of Sustainably Beautiful, a collection that uses only recycled gold, conflict-free diamonds, and responsibly-mined stones.

The versatile rings, bracelets, and necklaces can be mixed together and “stacked” (as Jennifer calls it) to create a contemporary look while retaining a classical elegance. I’m particularly drawn to the California Canyon and Drape looks. Each piece is handmade locally in her Sonoma County studio. (Prices vary.)
