Neutral Ground

-

There’s never a wrong time for neutrals, but as Murphy’s Law has it, just when you go looking, they seem to be the hardest thing to find. Here’s a quick snapshot of four eco options to save you the trouble of searching.

-Liz Saintsing for Vintage Untamed: the graphic artist prints her nature-inspired designs onto vintage handbags and other recycled finds.

-

-Jack & Marjorie: this large messenger Ellington bag, made of cotton tent canvas, military surplus wool and leather is a sleek mélange of neutrals.

-

-Kim White: aptly named the double magazine bag, this pick nicely combines cream, taupe and pewter vintage fabrics and will comfortably fit all of your belongings. Shown at top.
-Ashley Watson: part of the spring 2009 collection, this large Phoebe bag lined in hemp/cotton twill is a subtle staple.
