Biocrayons Streak Past Crayola for the Win

Looks like crayon giant Crayola may have its first serious competition with the eco-conscious: Prang’s Soybean based crayons. While Crayola crayons are made from paraffin wax that’s heated then stored in tanks, Prang is proud to say that their first new crayon in 100 years is made from environmentally-friendly soybean oil.

Save the UPC codes from Prang, Dixon or Ticonderoga products to earn Prang Power Points for free art and school supplies for your home or school. Prang’s new addition can be found across the nation from Wall-Mart to Target to Staples. Dixon Ticonderoga has come a long way since it was founded in 1795, but then again, so has the planet.
