EcoSalon’s New Foodspotting Channel

EcoSalon launches new Foodspotting guide to help you navigate your way through the foodie world.

Are you a foodie like the rest of us here at EcoSalon? Then we’re sure you’ll love Foodspotting.

Forget regular old online restaurant reviews, Foodspotting is all about highlighting your favorite foodie picks in a quick and interactive way. The concept is simple: snap a shot of a dish you love and rave to the world about it. In need of a place to eat? Use the mobile app to help you track what dishes are close to you and what looks appetizing. It’s visual, it’s positive, it’s global and we are in love with it.

Not only does Foodspotting let you search cities for what dishes are hot, they also have curated guides so you can get some of the best eats from names you trust, like EcoSalon. That’s right, we’ve got a brand spanking new Ecosalon Foodspotting page where we’ll be highlighting some of our favorite foodie spots and dishes from around the country. Check us out, say hello and let us know what dishes you love!

To celebrate the official launch of our new EcoSalon Foodspotting channel, we want to hear what local foodie destinations you love. Is it a taco truck, a hole-in-the-wall vegan joint or a wine bar with a local selection of wines and cheeses? We want to know! Submit your own list of Top 5 Locavore Picks from your city and we’ll compile a Readers’ Picks guide with a selection of our favorites. Even better, the person with the most intriguing list will win a Root of the Earth Platter from VivaTerra, perfect for serving up cheese, fruit, bread and beyond at your next dinner party.

To enter, please submit a list of your Top 5 Locavore Picks in your city to or add your recommendations to this Foodspotting guide. Entries must be received by July 1, 2011 12pm PST.
