Frozen grapes recipe with honey and pistachios

This frozen grapes recipe with honey and pistachios is a figure-friendly dessert or snack you can pop all summer long.

Just because it’s summer and you’re more conscious about showing more skin doesn’t mean you have to avoid sweet treats like the plague. In fact, you can indulge all you want in this recipe for frozen grapes with honey and pistachios without derailing your dietary goals. The natural sweetness of the grape satisfies your sweet tooth while it’s frozen consistency makes each bite a lot like noshing on a popsicle. The honey and pistachios add extra taste and texture as well as a gourmet touch. These frozen grapes make for the perfect poolside or on-the-run snack that will fill you up, cool you down, and keep your body bikini ready all summer long.

This recipe only requires three ingredients. Before being frozen, the grapes are dipped into honey, which acts as a glue of sorts for the chopped pistachios. Instead of pistachios, you can use whatever chopped nut you prefer. But don’t stop there! Experiment with other toppings, like chopped dried fruit, coconut flakes, or cacao nibs. If you want to keep this recipe vegan, use brown rice syrup, maple syrup, or coconut syrup instead of honey. Enjoy!

Frozen Grapes Recipe with Honey and Pistachios

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red or green grapes
  • ¼ cup chopped pistachios
  • ¼ cup honey

Directions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

Remove grapes from their stems. Prepare the assembly line by placing the honey and the pistachios into separate small bowls. Set them aside the baking sheet and grapes.

Take a grape and dip it into the honey, letting the excess drip off so that there is a thin coating on just half of the grape. Immediately pat the honey side of the grape on the pistachios. Place the honey and pistachio-dipped grape onto the baking sheet and repeat with the remaining grapes.

Once finished, put the baking sheet in the freezer for at least two hours.
