“Another bike shop’s garbage is Resource Revival’s treasure,” or so say the creators of this reinvented bike part.
Resource Revival is an Oregon-based firm that designs and handcrafts décor out of old bicycle parts. They call it “rebicycling.”
This particular vintage of rebicycling is both industrial and modern. It’s certainly a movable piece, but ideal for stashing your wallet, keys or phone. It costs $88, which you might feel is a steep hill to climb in the name of commerce. Remember though, that one landfill’s junk is another’s change receptacle.
