Johnny Farah’s belts are vegetable dyed by artisans in Lebanon.
Most people have a love/hate relationship with belts. This Corset belt from Johnny Farah is all about love and how a single belt could quite possibly change an entire outfit for the better, give you a waist, hug in your handles and set your style meter to high.
This is also a belt that transcends trends and we’re guessing, can only look better over time from wear.
Johnny Farah’s early influences came from Copenhagen. His site says: “Living there in the 70s, he developed a particular interest in the simplicity and practicality of Scandinavian architecture and furniture design, and more specifically in the way different materials like concrete, iron, wood or leather were put to their full formal and functional potential.”
Today, Farah can be found living and working out of an organic farm in Lebanon. Who says nature can’t inspire?
