Lustables: Skull in a Bottle Decanter

Your decanter is sending out an S.O.S.

Is it a skull in a bottle, or is your decanter sending you a message to “get more booze”? This wine decanter from Esque, a world-renowned glass blowing studio, is fitted with a clear or black glass skull, which emerges from the wine as the level in the decanter starts to run perilously low. It’s very rock star – with a price tag of $1,075 – but for the duo at Esque, Andi Kovel and Justin Parker, that’s how they blow.

In addition to creating glass for (rock star) musicians like Lenny Kravitz, they also collaborate with hotels, coffee shops and were included on Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential international designers.

Esque makes a mean flask, recycled beer bottle bottles, and cork stoppers that you must see to believe.
