Most important, it’s reclaimed.

Andrew Moe opened Moe Design Studio in New York in 2003, after …

The recipe goes like this:

- 2 ½ teaspoons of any mixture of the following essential oils: basil, catnip, cedarwood, citronella, juniper, lemon, lemongrass, myrrh, palmarosa, pine, rose geranium or rosemary.
- ½ cup of 190-proof grain alcohol (such as high …

Why deliberate silver and China settings for that beloved bride and groom when you can give them three trees to offset carbon emissions…or eight nights in a luxury suite in southern Thailand?

The travel company Send us Off does all the legwork, setting up registries for the couple’s family and friends. It is run by a pair of lovebirds – Native Aussie Daniel Russo and world traveler Joanna Cade – who met and were engaged in the far off land of Dallas, Texas.

Do you have your email set up for Google alerts? I do. One of them is for “eco-fashion” (go figure, right?).

A few days ago I got an email talking about Oxfam Great Britain’s secondhand and ethically-produced clothing you can buy online and was flabbergasted by how great the pieces were in both sections.

I’m ashamed to say I never knew the same Oxfam has over 700 shops, including specialist shops for books, clothes and music all over the world, which sell many fair-trade items and clothing. This all started in 1948.
