It’s time to trade in your summer pinks and sheer glosses for deep, fall hues. See what autumn has to offer by checking out the fall makeup colors we’re most excited to wear.

Red
The classic red lip is never really “out of season.” But if you took a break from the warm hue this summer, then it’s time to place it front-and-center in your makeup drawer this fall. Harper’s Bazaar reports that reds, such as bold, brick reds, are hot this season. Pair this look with simple eye makeup (a little mascara will do) and a SPF BB cream.

Black
If you enjoy getting creative with your black eyeliner, this look is for you. While simple, black lines are always classy, this fall, black lines are taking a funky turn. Messy lines, thick cat eyes, and more, are in this fall. Mascara also is having a messy moment — thick, chunky lashes that look smudged also will be big this autumn. If you choose to rock this daring look, wear a light colored lipstick.
Black also is popping up on lips. Everything from black, to deep purple hues are appearing on fashion-forward women’s pouts.

Light Pink
Everyone loves to have a subtly flushed look — especially in the cooler months when skin is fairer than normal. This year’s go-to blush colors are peach and rose. Pair freshly blushed cheeks with berry glossed lips.

Tan
If you’d rather achieve the “rested and relaxed” look rather than the “just got in from outside” look, grace your cheeks with tan blush instead. Vogue reports that “this sweeping blush gives that just-come-back-from-vacation look.”

Metallic
Shimmer is in. Everything from gold and silver shadows, to glitter of any color and white crystal adornments will grace eyelids this autumn. Wear metallic eye colors with minimal mascara to make those shiny hues standout.
