A nice little environmental reality check before your weekend: There’s an oil pipeline in the Great Lakes and it’s 62 years old.
As if that news wasn’t creepy enough, Grist reports this little nugget of sunshine: “The pipeline was originally built to last 50 years and is in questionable shape, but don’t worry — Enbridge [a crude oil transporter] says they have everything under control.”
Yay.
